Standards of Practice
As a licensed Professional Inspector, I am subject to the Rules and Standards of Practice as set forth by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). These standards set forth what an inspector is required to observe and report, as well as any limitations. These are just the minimum standards for inspections by TREC-licensed inspectors. Whenever possible, I strive to exceed these minimum standards for your benefit. However, the inspection is not an invasive or technically exhaustive inspection of the structure, systems, or components. We will not tear into walls, or damage property, permanent construction, or building finishes.
OTHER SYSTEMS;
PLEASE NOTE:
We do not inspect Private Water Wells, or Private Sewage Disposal Systems. If you have concerns about Private Wells or Sewage systems, you should employ a qualified specialist to inspect those systems before you close.
